The Finance Committee meeting will be held on

in the County Board Meeting Room, second floor of the

Christian County Courthouse, Taylorville, Illinois.

In accordance with EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-07 issued by Governor Pritzker, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation and the

New region 3 COVID-19 Resurgence Mitigations does allow us to social distance and to limit the number of people in a room.  However, none of the rooms at the courthouse can accommodate 25 people with social distancing.   There are 20 seats in the county board room and 22 in courtroom C. These meetings will continue to be done by free conference call.com as well.

The purpose of this meeting is for discussions and/or motions to approve/adopt and /or deny and/or table and/or amend and/or refer to an appropriate Committee in whole or in part the following:

  1. Approve claims as presented for November.
  2. Approve Board Chairman to sign the second set of claims.
  3. Update from Greg Nimmo EMA.
  4. Revisit CTI proposal for technical and backup service.
  5. Approve the submittal for reimbursement to the State for the Assessor’s salary increase effective 12/1/2020.
  6. Adopt the annual Appellate Prosecutor resolution for services to the States Attorney Office.
  7. Motion to adopt the FY 2021 final budget.
  8. Motion to adopt tax levy ordinance.
  9. Adopt resolutions pertaining to delinquent taxes on real property and mobile homes: South Fork Township-15-12-08-312-005-00 and 6 & 23 & 55 Hannon MH Park
  10. Update on Tax Sale.
  11. Public comments.
  12. Referrals from any other committee, any other matters that are properly brought before the Committee.
