Highway/Building/Grounds/Environmental/ Zoning/ Welfare—9/9/2019

  1. Request for use of courthouse lawn for annual Chilifest event.
  2. Courthouse updates: Elevator repairs or rebuild forwarded to Finance Committee.
  3. Discuss and/or recommend revisions of the current county Wind Systems Ordinance.
  4. Any other matters that properly come before the committee and/or comments or questions from the public.

Executive/Personnel/Liquor/Legislative—9/16/2019

  1. Discuss and adopt Enterprise Zone Intergovernmental Agreement; Ordinance establishing the Enterprise Zone and Ordinance enacting a policy statement – minorities, women & disabled businesses
  2. Adopt Cannabis Sales Tax Ordinance.
  3. Adopt 2020 Holiday schedule.
  4. AFSCME contract update.
  5. Personnel issues and/or personnel/other county policies/procedures, personnel or labor updates or any other matters or referrals that properly come before the committee and/or questions from the public and/or executive session for any personnel issue
  7. Audit/Finance/Purchasing/Budget—09/12/20191.
  8. Adopt resolution determining the intent of the County of Christian, Illinois to issue its revenue bonds to finance and refinance the costs of a project for Christian County Integrated Community Services. (Phase 1)3.
  9. Approve September claims as presented.
  10. Approve elevator repair as referred from the Building Committee.
  11. AFSCME contract update.
  12. Referrals from any other committee, any other matters that are properly brought before the Committee and/or questions from the public.
  13. Budget discussion and review.
  14. Approve payment for cemetery upkeep for Langley Cemetery.
  15. Discuss to proceed with consolidation of 911 services with Montgomery County.

  • Adopt Resolutions R2019 TR 013 thru TR 020 for delinquent tax bids.
  • Approve Resolution to place Public Safety Tax on March ballot.
    1. CHAIRMAN’S OFFICE UPDATES: Discuss to engage special attorney for Wind System Ordinance.
